Evan Sievers is a certified dog trainer (CDTK) based in Brooklyn, specializing in positive reinforcement, behavioral modification, and e-collar training. He believes that every dog is different and deserves a personalized, tailored plan to help create a better experience for dogs and pet parents. He incorporates proven techniques in both walking and training to reinforce calm and reliable behaviors.
Evan has worked professionally as a dog daycare attendant, walker, and trainer for several years. As his mother worked with The Seeing Eye throughout his childhood and adolescence, he's been around working dogs and structured training environments from a young age.
Brooklyn Dogs prides itself on imparting these techniques onto the small team working alongside Evan. All staff members have daycare, boarding, and walking experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. We are adept at managing group dynamics, leash reactivity, high-energy dogs, and shy or nervous dogs.
Together, we focus on safety, structure, and low-stress care. Whether that means reinforcing leash manners on a walk, helping a nervous dog settle in, or making sure your dog feels secure during a stay, our goal is always to create a calm and positive experience for every dog in our care.Â
